Lovell Ozanne were appointed to convert the former Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club to a new restaurant and bar. There were many challenges to meet, including the project programming, planning issues, working with an existing building and ensuring that the works did not interfere with the operation of one of the Island’s best loved pubs.

The works included forming a top floor Manager’s flat, forming a new kitchen to serve two floors of restaurants and bars together with the insertion of a new staircase within the existing structure.

The project retained the character of the existing building and enhanced the interior design to create a popular, commercially successful, restaurant, securing the future of the building for years to come.
