Creasey’s High Street - Phase 3 Completion

In October 2025, Creasey’s completed the latest phase of improvements to their High Street store -repurposing the former bank next door to extend and better connect their existing retail space. The project continues Creasey’s careful investment in their long-established St Peter Port premises, enhancing layout, light, and accessibility for customers.
This project focused on integrating the former bank into the existing Creasey’s layout, resulting in a single, continuous retail environment that feels natural and cohesive. The new areas improve circulation between floors, open up light-filled spaces, and create new opportunities for display and customer engagement - all while preserving the distinctive character of the High Street.
The project’s success lies in its balance between heritage and modernity. By reimagining a traditional building for contemporary retail use, the design respects the site’s architectural history while introducing a fresh, accessible, and vibrant interior atmosphere.

For Lovell Ozanne, the Creasey’s High Street project exemplifies the value of adaptive reuse and sensitive urban regeneration - breathing new life into existing fabric while supporting the vitality of Guernsey’s town centre.
We are proud to have contributed to this significant chapter in Creasey’s history and to the continued evolution of the High Street as a dynamic and characterful place to shop and connect.
Lovell Ozanne & Partners were proud to act as architects for this adaptive reuse project, working closely with Creasey’s and the wider consultant team to deliver a space that feels both timeless and forward-looking.
The redevelopment required detailed coordination to maintain uninterrupted retail operations throughout construction. Works included the installation of new vertical circulation, spatial reconfiguration, and the creation of a seamless connection between the two buildings - ensuring a unified customer journey from one end of the store to the other.
This third phase, delivered over approximately 25 months, continues the strategic renewal of Creasey’s flagship premises. Phases 4 and 5 are set to follow, extending the revitalization to the remaining upper floors.
